Club AGM, Wed 4 Dec 2024
Our club Annual General Meeting will be held at the Nightingale Suite, Alton Maltings from 7pm on Wednesday 4th December 2024.
Please come along and have your say on how your club is run, what we should focus on in 2025 and to elect your club’s committee.
A detailed agenda will be issued before the meeting and copies of the summary financial accounts for the year ending 31 October will be available.
Free drinks on entry to all paid-up members.
Fish & Chips with Live Music evening, 25 Oct 2024
Our next club night will be a fish & chip supper with live music evening on Friday 25th October at the Royal Oak, Farringdon, starting from 7pm with food served from 7.30pm. Live music from 8.45pm from the band ‘Final Cut’.
Beer and Skittles evening, 12 Sep 2024
Our next club night will be a beer and skittles evening on Thursday 12th September at the French Horn, starting from 7pm with first ball at 7.30pm. Come along and try your skill!
July annual rides
We have 2 of our annual special ride events coming up that we’d like to highlight (in case you’ve missed the WhatsApp messages – easily done!):
Jim Woods Memorial Audax (Sunday 7th July, 9am start)
Starting at Beech Village Hall and riding out to Leckford on a picturesque circular route. This ride is being organised by John Heath in memory of our good friend and club mate Jim Woods who tragically died in 2020 of a brain tumour. Any surplus money from this event will be donated to Brainstrust, the charity that provides help and resources to people with brain tumours.
Club 100 miler (Sunday 15th July, now Sunday 18th August, 8am start)
Early start from the Butts, and heading West with planned stops at Stockbridge and Wendy’s Community café in Great Bedwyn.
